C# Developer

We are a specialized software development company with offices in Berlin, Stockholm, and Porto Alegre, Brazil. We have been active since 2012 and our customers are other tech companies that we help with special expertise or assist in projects that they do not have time for themselves. We have customers in various areas such as edtech, digital signage, transportation, events, and e-commerce.

You'll be working in conjunction with a team of developers and infrastructure engineers based in Brazil, our development team based in Sweden, as well as our client's team. Your ability to work with remote teams is essential, as is fluency in English.

What you'll get to do:

• Work with modern web development using .NET Core

• Build a new web application from scratch

• Deploy and maintain applications on Azure

• Design software implementation based on PO's requirements

• Work autonomously and directly influence the results of the project

• Understand the customer's needs and encourage discussions to resolve problems or realize ideas

• Peer-review code and discuss solutions with your team

Some of the technologies and tools you'll get to work with:

• C# / .NET Core

• Linux and/or Windows platforms

• Web technologies, including React and modern JS tooling

• Docker/Kubernetes

• C# Frameworks such as EntityFramework and Razor

• PostgreSQL and MS SQL

To succeed in this role, we think you:

• Is fluent in English (debating subjects, understanding requirements, suggesting improvements and ideas)

• Have at least 3 years of professional programming experience in C# or a similar language

• Are comfortable with writing automated tests

• Are an efficient Git user

• Have remote work experience: managing expectations and remote collaboration ability

• Are comfortable working in an international environment

• Have agile development experience

• Enjoy what you are doing

About our technologies

Some of the technologies our team is working on now are Ruby, Python, C#/.NET, JavaScript/Node.js, some hosted with VPSes, and others at AWS or GCP. Other examples of technologies used are PostgreSQL, ZeroMQ messaging queue, ElasticSEarch, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes.
